| | | COMAS spa, as always willing to satisfy the requirements of its customers, is pleased to introduce a new version of the traditional production lines for pies, tarts and quiches. Infact, a new basic frame has been made from thick stainless steel sheet plates, and replaces the previous frame made of welded tubes covered by panels. This new solution combines robust construction and easiness of cleaning ensuring at the same time a high degree of security for the operators. By using sheet plate as a structural element, all the “dead zones” hard to clean and potentially dangerous for sanitation have been eliminated.
| More innovations involve the motorisation of the main conveyor achieved through a brushless servo-motor which consent to vary the indexing length and to guarantee quick and accurate positioning.
| There are two types of extruders/billeters available for sweet or savoury dough and two types of blockers, mechanical and hydraulic, in accordance with the required blocking power. Further improvements have been introduced to make change-overs simpler and quicker.

| | | | | | | The line model LTT 600 featured in the picture has the following configuration:
| | | | - Dispenser with suction cup system to depan the paper cups or foils from the feeders and load them onto the trays.
| - Volumetric short dough depositor. This machine doses a quantity of pre-established dough and target deposits it in the middle of the mould.
| - Mechanical pressing system to form the product base. It is provided with blocking dies and support counter-dies. The dies are teflonized, heated with air blow for dough cut-off.
| - Volumetric filling depositor with independent pistons. The machine is fitted on a C-shaped frame on wheels and removable from the line. The cylinder units with pistons, the D-valve and the dosing plate are easily removable and washable. This unit can be completed with an automatic CIP washing system.
| - Rotary moulder for short dough lids or lattice tops. This machine consists of a dough feed roller, a mould roller for lidding, and a pressure roller with belt for lid removal.
| | - Crimping system for lid closing and docking. It is equipped with teflonized crimping dies and with support counter-dies. | - Infeeding device to automatically load the baking trays into the tunnel oven.
| - The line production capacity is of 18,000 pieces/hr. based on a diameter of 70 mm.
| | | | The plant, with the line integrated, is complete with: dough production mixers, tunnel baking oven, tray conveyors with oven loading and unloading devices, cooling tower for the products on the trays, unit to depan the products off the trays and load them into the blisters, feeding conveyors for the flow-pack wrappers and product casing.
